Pint of Science is a non-profit organisation that aims to bring the research of a city to its public. Join us to celebrate Dundee's cutting edge research into a range of topics across the spectrum of science, humanities and the arts!

What’s really going on inside your body right now? Join us to discover how novel therapies for type 1 diabetes are being developed. Understanding relationships between mental well-being and nature. Can digital technologies really be helpful for mental well being? What type of small changes to our genetic building block affect our health? This exciting lineup brings together breakthroughs in biology, genetics, and digital health, with talks that will challenge how you think about the human body and mind.
We'll be joined by the following speakers:
- Greg Jackson (PhD Student) and Morgan Shaw (PhD Student), 'The Beta Cell Comeback: A Grand Challenge'
- Marcela Bota (PhD Student at the School of Medicine, University of Dundee), 'Decoding the Genetic Code'.
- Elle Crawley (PhD Student in Art and Design at the University of Dundee), 'Immersion Therapy'.
- Professor Peter Mossey (Chair of Cranio Development and Dentofacial Orthopaedics), 'Your health in your own hands'.
