Tea and Tunes - Kristina Leesik and Seamus O
Live Music Now Scotland Artist’s Seamus O Baoighill and Swedish traditional musician Kristina Leesik draw upon the strong cultural connections between the Scottish & Swedish traditions, through vocals, pipes & fiddles.

Kristina & Seamus plays a mixture of Scottish, Irish, Gaelic, and Swedish repertoire. They have a strong connection to all these diverse music cultures as they are all from respective traditions where they grew up and learnt it from a very young age. One of their strengths as a multilingual duo is their ability to reach out and connect with different types of people, cultures, and languages. Combining traditional instruments with songs is something they enjoy and to engage with the audience and let them sing along if possible. Kristina and Seamus together with jazz/folk pianist Dan Brown won a Danny Kyle Award with their trio Cuan a Tuath at Celtic Connections 2025. They will be performing at the festival again in 2026.
