The very first “Drive it Day” was held way back on April 23, 1900. Then called the ‘One Thousand Mile Trial,’ the 11-day challenge aimed to prove the potential of a new-fangled invention – the car.

Now, one hundred and twenty-six years later, we celebrate that pioneering spirit with the modern Drive it Day, bringing together clubs and vehicles of every era to celebrate the passion for the open road.

Join us for our final Drive it Day at Market Mews – before we make the big move to the restored Maryfield Tram Depot in 2027.
