Dundee Dramatic Society are delighted to present you with 2 One Act Plays, as they open their 2026 Season.

Eleven Fifty Six tells the story of Nathan, who, after being found wandering naked and confused, is in hospital where he looks certain to remain. Claiming to be a time traveller, he has no records, no identity and no money. Dr Caulfield thinks he's deluded, but there's something compelling about his claims and then there's Nathan's urgent desire to leave London.

When the Wind Blows follows Jim and Hilda Bloggs as they face a sudden nuclear threat with touching optimism and trust in official advice. Their humour and gentle routines contrast with the harsh reality approaching outside. The play is a moving, quietly devastating portrait of love, resilience and innocence in the face of catastrophe.
