Look out your ballet shoes and join Dundee Symphony Orchestra as we pirouette through our winter programme of dance music and ballet suites. Weber's thrilling Invitation To The Dance and Schubert's music for Rosamunde set the tone beautifully in the first half, whilst the second half sees the orchestra perform two of the great ballet suites - Tchaikovsky's suite from his Ballet Swan Lake and the epic 1919 suite from The Firebird by Igor Stravinsky. Stunning melodies, sorcerer spells, magical birds, true love and captured princesses, all brought to life by Dundee Symphony Orchestra and conductor, Robert Dick.
