Live Music Now Scotland Artist's Josie Duncan is a captivating folk-inspired songwriter and award-winning singer from the Isle of Lewis. With a voice that radiates warmth and vulnerability, she weaves together soulful melodies and heartfelt lyrics, drawing deeply from the rich musical heritage of the Western Isles. Winner of the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award, Josie has since written for Celtic Connections prestigious New Voices commission.

Michael McGovern is a Glasgow-born folk singer-songwriter whose debut album Highfield Suite earned widespread critical acclaim across the UK and Ireland, praised by BBC Radio, RTE Lyric, and Hot Press Magazine, and endorsed by folk legend Paul Brady as 'an unexpected gem'. Known for his fingerpicking guitars, wide vocal harmonies, and heartfelt lyrics influenced by Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, and Leonard Cohen, Michael has toured extensively across Europe, supported Mary Black on a sold-out Irish tour, and played prestigious festivals including Cambridge Folk Festival, Belladrum, and HebCelt.
