Dundee will host a brand new StreetCar Festival Scotland from 31 July to 1 August, bringing international competition and free family-friendly activities to the city.
This brand-new, free festival gives everyone the chance to experience the thrill of motorsport up close while discovering the future of sustainable transport. Running alongside the FIA EcoRally Scotland, the event combines international competition with hands-on activities designed for all ages.
The first day of the StreetCar Festival takes place on the evening of Friday, 31 July, at John Clark Motor Group on Broomhill Road, where you'll witness the spectacular ceremonial start of FIA EcoRally Scotland.
This exciting event offers local communities a unique opportunity to watch professional rally crews kick off the competition. The racing flag drops at 7:30pm - don't miss it!
The second day of the StreetCar Festival takes place on Saturday, 1st August. Join us from 9am to 5pm for a full day of interactive activities, demonstrations and motorsport experiences. Everyone is welcome!
Activities will include: -free EV passenger rides for anyone over the age of 13 - experience the acceleration, handling and excitement of electric motorsport first-hand -AutoSOLO experiences using your everyday road car - test your car control skills on a safe yet exciting obstacle course -Esports simulators allowing you to experience the thrill of professional racing -EV test drives - explore the latest EVs and discover how affordable, practical and enjoyable driving electric can be.
The StreetCar Festival Scotland is all about making motorsport accessible, welcoming and affordable. It's a rare chance to get up close to drivers, cars and competitions while learning how you can get involved yourself.
