Join us for a WW2 Home Front Reenactment in the heart of Broughty Castle! Come and meet members of the Edinburgh Local Defence Volunteers and experience what life was like for civilians in Scotland during wartime and their roles in the war effort. This event will feature portrayals of the Local Defence Volunteers, Woman's Land Army, Air Raid Precautions and civilians of the home front - all set around a tented area within the castle walls!

Explore wartime life.
Visit Broughty Castle Museum - open as usual during the event.
This is a free, family-friendly event offering a unique glimpse into Dundee's wartime history.

Saturday 30th August, 10am-4pm.
Sunday 31st August, 12.30-4pm.
