Paul Cudenec - For the love of Sophia: thinking our way back to natural harmony.
Paul is a journalist, essayist and novelist. In recent years he has been developing an alternative political-spiritual philosophy, which he calls organic radicalism.
He will give a three part talk looking at:
1. Sophia: what she represents and the fusion of the ideas of wisdom, beauty and nature. Also looking at similar figures such as Khidr (The Green One), and in general the relationship between primal images (Urbilder), archetypes and gods/goddesses.
2. The way in which this understanding has been destroyed by the advance of modern thinking, leading to our psychological separation from wider belonging, both to nature and to the cosmos.
3. Why it’s thus crucial to rediscover the old ways of thinking, not just to restore our understanding of our place in the world, but also to change our way of being. The need to rise above the ego and to access higher levels/vibrations. This not only makes the individual strong and available as a tool for the divine, but also allows resonance with others at a frequency beyond the reach or understanding of the materialist system.
