It’s free to join and use the library – the only small charges we apply are for printing and photocopying but you can print your CV free of charge.

Odilo App
The free Odilo app is available from your App or Play Store for both Android and iOS 11+ – search and download “Odilo – Ukraine Unlimited Learning” It can also be accessed via your web browser by visiting https://ukraine.unlimitedlearning.io/ and offers free access to over 1800 titles in Ukrainian.
All that is required is your name and an email address and your acceptance of the terms and conditions. During set up you will be asked to create a password and select which country you are in. Download the user guide for further instruction.

Dundee Libraries Libby Service is a one stop shop for a huge selection of digital reading material including;

eNewspapers – free unlimited access to full text of thousands of newspapers from over 100 countries every day. Borrowbox

uLibrary offers access to a small yet growing collection of downloadable audiobooks with the added bonus of access to monthly digital bookclubs for adults and children.

Quick Read Books
Reading books in English can help improve language skills. Quick Reads are a series of short books with no more than 128 pages and are a great way to get started. Written by bestselling authors and celebrities, they allow you to enjoy a great story while becoming more familiar with the English language.

We at Badger Learning have been thinking about what we can do to support children arriving from Ukraine and have decided to translate and publish a range of six dual language English–Ukrainian eBook PDFs for schools and families. We have consulted with our authors and commissioned professional translators to work on these books so we can offer them to schools and families to download free of charge. These are suitable for children in KS2 and KS3 (ages 8–14) and are ideal learning resources to support children in building fluency in reading in English.
