Holiday Activities is back for 2024 and is now available to book. Holiday Activities provide fun and energetic activities for primary and secondary school children throughout the school holidays. Our camps offer a great opportunity to meet new friends, build on current skills or learn a new one, cure holiday boredom, all while having great fun!
This year we have many of your favourite holiday camps planned at venues across Dundee, there really is something for everyone. Holiday Activities promise to offer fun-filled activities that you will love.

Urban Moves Easter Dance Camp
Urban Moves Easter Dance Camp provides a fun and energetic week for primary and secondary school aged pupils. The dancers will learn and create street dance choreography alongside our team of Urban Moves coaches who can’t wait to work with all the dancers and have a fun filled Easter dance camp!!!

Easter Football Camp
Our football holiday camps are a great way to keep your child active throughout the holidays, by participating in fun filled days of football. Each day will see your child participate in technical challenges, fun games and small sided games, as they learn new skills and meet new friends, all in a safe and positive environment.
Our programme is delivered by our highly qualified and experienced coaches who will attend to your child’s every need throughout the week. Our camps are suitable for children of all abilities, whether they play football every day, or if they simply wish to learn new skills. Our coaches will ensure that each child is at a level that they feel most comfortable, where learning and achieving is at its optimum. This will be based on age, but is subject to change depending on a player’s confidence and ability.

Gymnastics Camps
Gymnastics Camp for all abilities, a great chance to have fun, make friends while learning new skills. All camps are delivered by fully qualified gymnastics coaches. Come along and learn gymnastics skills in one of the best facilities in Scotland.
Fun Camp held within Regional Gymnastics Facility. Participants can come along have fun while learning new gymnastics techniques and skills.
Bring along lunch and water bottle, tie long hair back and wear flexible clothing. No shoes or socks worn in hall.

Sport & Splash
Sport and Splash holiday camps are packed filled with the most popular sports on offer! Our camp will consist of a multi-sport programme, offering participants the opportunity to play sports such as football, basketball, pickleball, dodgeball and other playground games! Swimming will also be on offer to everyone who attends the camp, and is a great opportunity to learn new skills in the water, gain confidence when swimming and have fun!
The Sport and Splash camp is a great opportunity to sample many different sports over the week, all whilst having fun!!

Intensive Swim Lessons
Intensive swim lessons providing water confidence for non swimmers or beginners. For children 5-8yrs and attending school.
Participants are required to bring swimwear and a towel. Both goggles and swim caps are optional however, long hair should be tied back.
Parents for this age group (5-8yrs) are required to remain on site, there is a seating area located passed reception available for you to utilise as there is unfortunately no spectating on poolside.

Early Years Activities
Our Ready Steady Go holiday programme offers a variety of classes for children aged 0-5 years. These activities may include Baby Massage, Yoga, Little Kickers, Boogie Babies, Little Gymtime, Little Movers etc.

Ancrum Activities
Meet at Ancrum Outdoor Centre for 9am registration. All equipment will be provided. Please bring a packed lunch with plenty to drink. (Pick up time 1630-1645 at latest).
Elie Chain Walk
Chain walking is an exciting and unique activity provided by Ancrum Outdoor Centre which takes place in Elie on the Fife coastal path. The route challenges our young adventurers (well equipped with harnesses and helmets) to journey along on a section of this path by means of walking, scrambling and moving across steep sections with the aid of chains bolted on to the cliff face. Watch out for the big waves! This is a popular activity, so book up fast!

Mountain Bike Adventure
Improve and test your mountain biking skills at a really cool venue used by our centre. This will be a great day out in forests and scenic locations to give you a real sense of adventure. You MUST be able to ride a bike confidently.

Information for parents
- Payment - Sessions should be booked in advance and payment must be made at the time of booking. Please ensure before booking that you are able to attend, as we are unable to provide a refund should you not be able to attend.
- Registration - To ensure the safety of your child, we ask you to register your child with our staff at the start of each day and to sign your child out when you pick them up at the end of each session. A fully completed consent form must be completed by parent/guardian prior to the child attending.
- Drop off/Pick up - Children aged 8 and under MUST be signed out by a parent/guardian at the start/end of each session. Children over 8 who wish to leave sessions by themselves MUST have a parent speak to the coach at the start of the camp to confirm this. Children MUST be accompanied by an adult until the camp starts.
- Staffing - Our team of staff hold various National Governing Body sports coaching qualifications and all lead coaches hold a valid first aid qualification. All staff are Disclosure Scotland checked and adhere to Leisure & Culture Dundee child protection policy.
- Lunch breaks - All children are encouraged to bring a water bottle when attending any activities. Children booked into full day sessions will have a supervised lunch break each day. For full day camps please arrange for your child to bring a packed lunch.
- Clothing - We ask that your child arrives appropriately dressed for the activity whether it’s indoors or outdoors. For outdoor sessions please supply a change of clothes and sunscreen.
- Refunds - Please ensure before booking that you are able to attend, as we are unable to provide a refund should you not be able to attend.
Accessibility Information
Please note - Our holiday programmes are inclusive and accessible to anyone who has additional support needs. We would strongly advise that if you book on an activity, you include the additional information in the application form and if you have any questions before/after booking, please email holiday.bookings@leisureandculturedundee.com and we will assist with your enquiry.
It should also be noted that the following venues may not be suitable for wheelchair users:
McTaggart – We do not have hoists available at the facility.
Ancrum – Anyone with any additional support needs wishing to take part in any Ancrum activities should contact the centre in the first instance to confirm suitability as our activities take place in distant and challenging environments. Contact 01382 435911 for further information.
