Come and experience The McManus: Dundee's Art Gallery & Museum during a late night opening! We are free to visit at any time, and during Think Thursdays, we will be offering a unique evening for all visitors. We will have a strong family focus that encourages everyone to take inspiration from our displays and undertake some self-directed creative activities.
On Thursday April 6th, our family space will transport you to Wild Escapes inspired by our natural history and art collections where you can create your own magical creature to add to the Art Fund website, We also have new nature trails available on clipboards for families to work through.
For those feeling artistic, we have a few easels and tables set up for self-directed activity based on close looking at museum displays.
The McManus shop will also be open stocking a wide range of items to appeal to both museum visitors and city centre shoppers. To add to the atmosphere, the Gothic Hall will be transformed with uplighters.

As part of the new Think Thursday campaign ran to create a more vibrant city centre on Thursday nights, The McManus will be open once a month until late!
On top of this some of favourite local businesses now have extended their trading hours to include 5pm to 8pm on Thursday evenings! Along with a great range of local businesses taking part, there is a range of offerings on cultural attractions, along with £1 parking at council carparks and discounted Xplore Dundee bus travel into the town centre on Thursdays from 4pm.
We will be open until late on Thursday 6th April, 4th May & the 1st of June.
