Isla Ratcliff and Evie Waddell perform unique arrangements
of Scottish traditional music, combining Scots and Gaelic songs, fiddle, piano, stepdance and BSL. They bonded over their love for traditional culture and their desire to convey important messages through their music. They have a striking blend of voices and a distinctive approach and attitude to traditional music.

Kaitlin and Catriona, Isla and Evie are Live Music Now performers.

Supported by Bòrd na Gàidhlig, this event is a perfect introduction to Gaelic music and song, setting the stage for World Gaelic Week. Established in 2022 and funded by Bòrd na Gàidhlig, Seachdain na Gàidhlig (World Gaelic Week) celebrates Scottish Gaelic across the globe and aims to raise the profile of Gaelic through community initiatives, schools’ engagement, projects, and events. This year, it runs from 24th February to 2nd March 2025.
