Support Soundbase Crowdfunder

Soundbase is seeking support for its Crowdfunder campaign:

The project will work with young people to produce podcasts, record their music, and develop skills in editing and promotion through social media. Any new donations will be matched on a £1 to £1 basis by Creative Scotland.

Soundbase is a music workshop for young people aged 12 to 18, delivered during the school holidays. A team of professional musicians supports up to 25 participants to develop skills in song-writing, guitar, drumming, keyboard, band performance, as well as building confidence and social and emotional skills.

The new podcast project will build on the strengths of the music workshops, enhancing participants’ creative and technical skills. It aims to explore how podcasts can be used to record music, edit content, and promote and publicise work through social media.
