Applications now open for the Dundee Music Project Grants 2026/27

Local non-profit organisations are being invited to apply for the Dundee Music Project Grants 2026/27, a funding programme designed to support the delivery of music projects across Dundee.

Launched by Leisure & Culture Dundee, the grant fund aims to strengthen the city’s vibrant music and creative sectors by helping organisations create new opportunities for people to engage with music. Projects can cover a wide range of musical genres and must take place within Caird Hall or another Leisure & Culture Dundee venue.

The programme is open to independent, constituted, non-profit organisations based in Dundee that are planning music-related activities which encourage participation, creativity and access to musical opportunities.

What funding is available?

Organisations can apply for funding of up to £500, or 50% of eligible project costs, whichever is the lower amount. Each organisation may receive one grant per year.

What can the grant support?

Funding can be used towards a range of project-specific costs, including:

  • Artist fees
  • Tutor fees
  • Venue hire
  • Technical and administrative costs
  • Marketing and publicity
  • Professional fees
  • Project-specific materials and equipment hire

Who can apply?

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be an independent, constituted, non-profit organisation
  • Deliver a music-related project
  • Hold the project within Caird Hall or another Leisure & Culture Dundee facility

The Dundee Music Project Grants provide an opportunity for organisations to develop innovative music activities, support local talent and help make music more accessible to communities across the city.
