What is the Leisure Concession Scheme?


Leisure and Culture Dundee – in partnership with Dundee City Council offer a reduced price on memberships, activities and bookings to all residents of Dundee who qualify under any of the following criteria:

  • Over 60
  • Receiving Housing Benefit/Council Tax Reduction
  • Receiving Working Tax Credits (subject to income)
  • Supported under part VI of the Immigration & Asylum Act 1999
  • Unemployed & receiving Income Support/Jobseekers Allowance (income based) or Employment & Support Allowance (Income Related)

 

What’s included?


The concession discount is applicable on:

  • Leisureactive Full Fit Concession membership (£25 per month, instead of £29)
  • Golf Dundee Concession Memberships on 18-hole and 9-hole courses
  • Activity bookings including racket sports, court hire, group exercise classes, gym sessions and swimming
  • Admission to Camperdown Wildlife Park (excluding special events)
  • Admission to Dundee Ice Arena for public skate sessions (excluding skate hire)

 

How to apply for your Leisure Concession


Use the webform below to fill in your details and upload proof of eligibility. Proof of eligibility can include: proof of address (i.e recent utility bill) and either proof of age (i.e passport, driving licence) or a current letter showing entitlement to any of the above benefits. (Please note that a National Entitlement Card itself cannot be used as proof of eligibility as they are issued for a number of different reasons.)

If you would like your Leisure Concession added to your National Entitlement Card (NEC) please tick ‘yes’ and provide the card number – this is the number directly below your name on the front of the card starting with 6337. This allows you to use one smartcard to access services across Dundee including at Leisure and Culture Dundee facilities, and on public transport.

Criteria

Which criteria are you applying for the Leisure Concession Scheme under? Please note that you must be a resident of Dundee to be eligible.

Please take and upload a clear photo of your proof of eligibility such as: proof of address (i.e recent utility bill) and either proof of age (i.e passport, driving licence) or a current letter showing entitlement to any of the above benefits. (Please note that a National Entitlement Card itself cannot be used as proof of eligibility as they are issued for a number of different reasons.)

Leisure Concessions Terms & Conditions


  1. Leisure concessions are available to all residents of Dundee who qualify under any of the following criteria:
    • Over 60
    • Receiving Housing Benefit/Council Tax Reduction
    • Receiving Working Tax Credits (subject to income)
    • Supported under part VI of the Immigration & Asylum Act 1999
    • Unemployed & receiving Income Support/Jobseekers Allowance (income based) or Employment & Support Allowance (Income Related)
      Proof of eligibility will be required
  2. The Leisure Concession Scheme is valid for 1 year from the date of issue, or until the holder is no longer eligible due to change of personal circumstances
  3. Only those with the Concession Sub added to their account will be eligible to take advantage of any of the services and discounts offered by the scheme
  4. No concessions will be granted until your application is processed
  5. It is the duty of the person applying for the scheme to provide all Leisure & Culture Dundee with all the correct information and the required authentication documents
  6. This application is processed in accordance with the General Date Protection Regulations 2018
  7. Leisure & Culture Dundee reserve the right to vary the above terms & conditions without prior notice.
