We’re redeveloping the Connections Department at Dundee Central Library to create a flexible and welcoming space for the community. Now we want your input.
This free-to-book area is located on the lower level of the library and is ideal for small meetings, workshops, creative sessions and more. It is a safe, neutral and accessible environment with several breakout zones, including:
- A former creche area with vinyl flooring and a closable door
- A former IT study area
- The Reading Area
All spaces are open plan and carpeted, except for the creche. The larger floor area in Connections is also open for redevelopment ideas.
Whether you are part of a community group, a third sector organisation, a student or a local resident with a great idea, we would love to hear how you would use this space. What would make it most useful for you and your group?
Bookings are available during Central Library opening hours until 6pm on weekdays and 5pm on Saturdays.
Please send your suggestions and booking enquiries to: connections@leisureandculturedundee.com
Let’s build a space that brings people together.
