
Leisure & Culture Dundee has announced that nominations the 24/25 Active Dundee Sports Awards are now open, with the awards ceremony taking place on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Apex Hotel.
From this year the Dundee Sports Awards will now be called the Active Dundee Sports Awards in line with the re-branding of Leisure & Culture Dundee’s Leisure & Sports Service, the team who organise this celebration of sport for the city.
The Active Dundee Sports Awards will pay tribute to the success of the city's top sports clubs, athletes, schools and volunteers on the same evening. The theme of the awards is “Changing Lives Through Sport” with the awards celebrating the wider impact that sport has on communities, individuals, and schools across the city in addition to celebrating exceptional sporting performances.
Last year's award winners included Dundee Hawkhill Harriers runner Natasha Phillips as 23/24 Sportsperson of the Year, Kanzen Karate as 23/24 Club of the Year and Craigiebarns Primary School as 23/24 School of the Year.
There are 13 Award Categories this year, each with its own nomination criteria.
