A display of photographs taken during the construction of the Caird Hall over one hundred years ago is going on display at Dundee’s Central Library as part of this year’s centenary celebrations of Dundee’s main concert and event venue.
The extraordinary images being shown are a selection taken from 600 glass negatives showing areas of Dundee, used for planning purposes in Dundee during 20th century.
As part of the exhibit, the Caird Hall is also putting out a public appeal to all those who have visited the Caird Hall over the years for display later in the year.
Angela Doran, Music Development Officer said
“We are making a call out to all those who have visited the Caird Hall over the years – Do you have any photos of you, friends, family at the Caird Hall and willing to share for the next exhibition in September?”
