STEAM education is a new approach to learning that emphasises Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths to help develop key skills in problem solving, creativity and critical thinking and foster innovation. The STEAM Hub has been created therefore to bring these subjects and our Makerspace together in one space and to promote STEAM and design activities including 3D Printing, sewing and coding for all ages. A recent addition to the STEAM Hub is the Making Room, originally created by award winning design collective Assemble at V&A Dundee.
Volunteer roles are available for Young STEM Leaders, Educators, Teachers and Designers. For more information please contact STEAM Hub.
