Leisure and Sports Youth Ambassador
We are looking for teens from 14-17 years old who are passionate of sports and want to get their voices out about our current and future programmes of Leisure and Sports Dundee.
At-a-glace
The Youth Ambassador programme brings together teens living in Dundee and surrounding areas to work with the Leisure and Sports team, promote physical well-being, increase awareness of our current and future activities, and prepare themselves and peers to make a difference in their communities.
Our new Youth Ambassadors will engage in workshops, mentoring opportunities, upskilling through various qualifications, community service activities and team building exercises throughout the time spent with us.
Programme Length
All year round - meeting once every start of each month.
After your first six months, review will be offered to discuss your journey with us around plans for your future.
Eligibility
All youth participants must:
- Be between 14 to 17
- Be living in Dundee or near by (e.g. Broughty Ferry, Monifieth)
- Passionate and practicing any physical activities (including walking)
- Interest in supporting their local community.
