+ Can I join with no experience of cheerleading?
Of course! Our expert coaches will help you to build-up confidence in this new activity and everyone will start from scratch. Bring your friends and enjoy a fun, safe and non-competitive atmosphere.
+ I'm not very flexible, can i still be a cheerleader?
100%. Many athletes who join think they aren't flexible but with regular practice will actually help you become more flexible. When you join Cheerleading for Fun you will stretch in each session and notice an improvement over time.
+ Is it too late to be a cheerleader?
Nope, this activity welcomes everyone from P6+, meaning it is never too late to join! Whatever your age or ability these sessions will suit you with most other participants in the same boat. You won't believe how quickly you progress!
Yes! When done properly with mats and supervised by qualified coaches it is very safe..
Yes and no. The beauty of cheerleading is that it's split into levels, meaning you can start from any ability and there is no limit to your progression. If you enjoy the sport and decide to look for a more competitive approach, we have a partnership with Tribe Club in Dundee. For more info contact : lisa.north@leisureandculturedundee.com.
