Dundee Football Performance Academy

The Dundee Football Performance Academy (DFPA) launched in 2019 with the aim of establishing a sustainable player development programme to support grassroots footballers reach their full potential. Sessions are designed in a way, to complement current club training schedules of all players and offers a pathway for boys and girls from U10 to U16.

Additionally, we provide Goalkeeper specific training for every age group. This is delivered by our partners, BGK Goalkeeping.

Things we expect

  • All players must act responsibly before, during & after each session.
  • All players must either wear the DFPA training kit or their own club training wear.
  • All players must ensure they have enough to drink for each session. Water is highly recommended.
  • Players must wear shin guards and boots for football sessions.


Players must be nominated to take part in the programme.

This can be done either by a parent, club coach or school teacher. Nominations should be sent to dan.curnyn@leisureandculturedundee.com and must detail why the player should be involved in the programme.

Wednesday 2013 - 2014 Boys 4.15 - 5.30pm
Thursday 2014 - 2015 Girls** 4.15 - 5.30pm
Friday 2010 - 2013 Girls 4.15 - 5.30pm
