Dundee Art Galleries and Museums have large collections that have been built up through donations, gifts and purchases over a period of one hundred and fifty years. The majority of the collection relates to Dundee and the surrounding area, but the City also has important national and international items, particularly in the collections of fine and decorative art and cultural material from around the world.
