Temporary Changes to Drumgeith Library – April 2026
Essential maintenance will be taking place at Drumgeith Community Campus during the school Easter holidays. To allow this work to go ahead, Drumgeith Library will temporarily relocate to the school auditorium.
To prepare for the move, the library will be closed to the public on:
- Friday 3 April
- Saturday 4 April
The library will then reopen in the campus auditorium on Monday 6 April.
Following completion of the works, the library will close again on:
- Saturday 18 April and reopen on Monday 20 April
This final closure will allow staff to move back into the main library space.

What’s On at Drumgeith Library
Looking for fun, free activities for all ages? Drumgeith Library is the perfect place to connect, learn, and enjoy time together. Drop in for stories, songs, and friendly groups – there’s something for everyone!
Bookbug Sessions
- When: Every Tuesday at 11:00am
- What: Free 30-minute sessions for children aged birth to five and their parents/carers. Enjoy songs, rhymes, and a story in a welcoming space.
- Booking: No booking required – just come along!
Family Storytime
- When: Every Saturday at 11:00am
- What: Stories and fun for children and families.
- Booking: No booking required – just drop in!
PEEP Group
- When: Every Wednesday at 10:30am
- What: A free, friendly group for parents/carers with children aged 0–3 years.
Family History Group
- When: Every Thursday, 9:00am–12:00pm
- What: A welcoming group for adults interested in genealogy – suitable for all levels.
