Friday 30th October 16:15

As Dundee will be placed in Level 3 of the Scottish Government's new Covid-19 protection guidance from Monday 2 November, all Leisure Active gym classes will be suspended from then until further notice, including Aquafit.

Similarly, group sport for over 18s is not possible indoors and so sports hall bookings and other group activities will only be available for under 18s at all our indoor venues.

All our gyms and pools that are currently open, will remain open throughout this period. However, we understand that keeping schools open for the safe education of young people is a priority. Under the Level 3 restrictions, schools remain open with enhanced protective measures in place. In order to support this, and in discussion with Dundee City Council, we have taken the decision to delay the opening of Swim & Sports Centres at Grove Academy, Harris Academy and St Paul's RC Academy.

As Visitor Attractions are allowed to remain open with protective measures in place, The McManus: Dundee's Art Gallery & Museum will be open 7 days from Monday 2 November.

We are working hard to confirm the restart of as many of our Sport Centre term time classes as soon as possible, such as Urban Moves Dance, Football and Tennis. Our programme coordinators will be in touch with participants to confirm details shortly.

We also intend to further enhance other offerings available during this time, such as online alternatives for fitness classes. In the meantime, there are over 200+ On Demand fitness classes available on our Leisureactive App, Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Please note that opening times may change at short notice in line with Government guidance. We thank you for your continued patience and support.

Friday 30th October 13:47

Dundee will be placed in Level 3 of the Scottish Government's new Covid-19 protection guidance from Monday 2 November.

However, as Visitor Attractions are allowed to remain open in Level 3, The McManus: Dundee's Art Gallery & Museum will be open 7 days.

We have a range of protective measures in place for your safety and can't wait to welcome you to Scotland's Best Visitor Attraction.

We will be open Monday - Saturday 10am - 5pm
Sunday 12.30pm - 4.30pm

Tuesday 8th September 12:37

We plan to resume our Leisure & Sport classes for children and young people from Monday 19 October 2020 to coincide with the next school term. These include swimming lessons, Urban Moves Dance classes, Ready Steady Go - Early Years Activities and Sports Development classes such as Football, Athletics, Tennis, Netball, Gymnastics and Trampoline.

Booking information will be released in due course. Please check our website and social media for the latest details.

The resumption of classes is subject to change in line with the latest Government guidance.

Scotland's 'Best Visitor Attraction', The McManus: Dundee's Art Gallery & Museum will be reopening on Thursday August 20.

Visitors and Dundonians alike will once again be able to experience Dundee's museum collection in eight beautiful open gallery spaces. The galleries act as the City's civic memory, housing fascinating individual items of art, which provide an engaging insight into the history of Dundee.

Tuesday 14th July 15:51

We welcome the Scottish Government announcement that the library sector can begin reopening from 15 July, as we cautiously move into Phase 3 of Scotland's route map. We are currently working on our reopening plans and have complex arrangements we need to make so that we can keep everyone safe. We will therefore not be opening libraries on that date. We will let you know about our phased approach to reopening soon. In the interim customers will not incur fines on any books they have out on loan. Thank you for your continued patience. Regular service updates will be posted on our website and on our social media channels.
