St Fillans, Drummond Arms Hotel. This beautiful location set at the eastern end of Loch Earn. The hotel was built in 1872 by Andrew Heiton junior.
The Drummond Arms Hotel has an Italianate tower. Clementina Drummond, wife of Lord Gwydyr, was heiress to the Drummond estate.
Alexander Wilson who took this photograph, was a supervisor in a Dundee jute mill for over 20 years. He bequeathed much of his collection and £50, to cover the costs involved, to the Free Library Committee of Dundee in 1923.
