The gold casket which will hold the Address given to the Duke will be displayed in the window of James Rattray Jeweller, Nethergate, who will also have commemoration medals of the unveiling of the Queen's statue for hanging on bracelets/watch chains. Gold medals 12s, silver medals 1s6d.


Alexander Wilson who took this photograph, was a supervisor in a Dundee jute mill for over 20 years. He bequeathed much of his collection and £50, to cover the costs involved, to the Free Library Committee of Dundee in 1923.
