Roseangle, Dundee - Ref: WC0353
This building stood about halfway down Roseangle, and stood where Seafield road now is.
The Dundee Directory gives no obvious clues to its history or purpose; why a relatively shabby house was left to stand among the proud buildings around it is unknown.
The one possibility is the Dundee Aerated Water Manufacturing Company, manager Henry Blackwood, based at No. 21 Magdalen Yard Road.
Alexander Wilson who took this photograph, was a supervisor in a Dundee jute mill for over 20 years. He bequeathed much of his collection and £50, to cover the costs involved, to the Free Library Committee of Dundee in 1923.
