Housebound Library Service

If you have difficulty getting out and about to use your local library or the mobile library, the Housebound Service can bring books  and music to you.

The Housebound Service delivers to borrowers’ homes throughout the area on a three weekly basis, delivering a selection of books and  music. Books can be provided in ordinary print, large print or as audio books.

Staff will establish the readers' likes and dislikes and make a selection based on their preferences, which will then be delivered to their home. Staff can also provide information regarding other Council Services.
