Coldside Community Library

Coldside Community Library offers a wide range of services and activities for all ages. Come and meet our friendly, helpful and efficient staff. We can help you find a book by your favourite author or recommend something new to read as part of our personal shopper service.

We have a large selection of books for all ages, as well as talking books, DVDs, newspapers and magazines. There are computers available for Internet access and staff can help if you need it. We also provide taster sessions that must be booked in advance.

Informal area

Why not relax with a cup of tea or coffee? This is available every morning from 10 am.

Reading Group

This is a small group which meets on the last Friday of the month from 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm. It’s very relaxed and the members like to try books which they would not normally read. The group is always looking for new people to join!

Services for children

Rhymetime is held every Tuesday from 2 pm to 2.45 pm. Toddlers can bring their teddy, mum, dad or granny for a singsong and story every week.

Saturday is family day in the library when families can come and play with games, toys, jigsaws, use the Internet and read books - all in a relaxed atmosphere.

During the school holidays we have lots of fun things to make and do!
