Where to Find Us

Ardler Community Library can be found in Ardler Complex on Turnberry Avenue. The 1C bus stop is directly outside the Complex, and the 1A and 1B buses stop within walking distance. There are plenty of car parking spaces available.

Services We Offer

Ardler library has all the services you would expect to find in your local library - a great selection of books for adults and children, talking books, Internet access, newspapers, study area etc. There is also a self-issuing terminal for those of you in a hurry.

We have a Toy Library. You can borrow a range of toys suitable for pre-school children. Joining could not be easier - just bring along something which shows your name and current address , pay £1 to join and then you can borrow up to 4 toys at a time for 3 weeks. Perfect for families - and grandparents when babysitting!

Free computer access is also available and computers can be booked for up to 2 hours.

Special Collections

Did you know that you can organise a special collection of large items by the Waste Management Department through your local library?

Relax and Read

Ardler Reading Group

We have a well attended, friendly reading group that meets once a month on a Monday between 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. New members are always welcome. Call: Gill Macdonald 01382 436366 for details. Email: gill.macdonald@leisureandculturedundee.com

Help with Exams

We have a range of study guides and past papers plus a good selection of books for specialist reading. Perfect for any student studying for Standard and Higher Grades. We also have books that may be of help when job hunting - how to prepare CV's, how to prepare for interviews etc.

What's On

"Diary of Events" through the year covering things like out of school activities, summer reading challenge, author visits, rhymetime, dads and lads, and anything else going on in the library. There is a Rhyme and Sign Time every Friday from 10 am to 11 am suitable for babies and toddlers (this event does not take place during school holidays).
