City Churches
19th-21st November, Friday 3-7pm,
Saturday 2-7pm and Sunday 2-6pm.

Pedal Power! This year sees a new main Christmas tree location in Dundee. The city will take a living tree in a prime location and dress that rather cut down and subsequently dispose of a cut tree. We will take the first weekend and use it to highlight sustainable practices. By getting the public to power the tree lights Sustainable Dundee will further conversations around renewable power, highlight our Christmas waste recycling campaign and promote active travel.

City Square
2nd-24th December, Sunday to Thursday 11am-7pm,
Friday and Saturday 11am-8.30pm.

Christmas in City Square never looked so sparkly! There will be a host of free activities and photo opportunities in iconic City Square in front of the beautiful Caird Hall. We'll have light up Wishing Fountains...press the button and make a wish! View the City Chambers building, with a nightly projection reel with Dundee landmarks counting down the 12 days of Christmas. The highlight will be our Dundee Christmas Card...with a special design this year from Beano Studios with all our favourite characters getting up to no good! We'll host a Social Bite Tree of kindness for the public to donate gifts, a free activitiy tent with workshops and a letters to Santa station and as always our local favourite Pingoo will be on hand to light up the square with his cuteness! We'll locate it with a Dundee sign...perfect for selfie lovers and the whole will be enclosed in festoons and sparkle.

Slessor Gardens
26th November to 2rd January, Monday to Thursday 10am-9pm,
Friday to Sunday, 10am-10pm.

WinterFest: an ice rink, a market, bar, big wheel and kiddies rides...we have it all going on in Slessor gardens this year. Adding to the city's attractions and creating a waterfront focal point, our Winterfest will offer a great day out for all.
