Subtitled: A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon
Shaun's back! We've been waiting for the return of Britain's favourite sheep ever since Aardman Animation announced his second big screen adventure was on its way eighteen months ago - and good things certainly come to those who wait... Blending together rural agricultural practices, Plasticine and sci-fi (and why not?) we are thrillingly promised - ahem! - close encounters adventures of the furred kind. Coming from the multi-Oscar winning team who brought us a jewel-thieving penguin, a freedom-fighting flock of chickens and that giant were-rabbit, a shift into the alien environments of outer space is really just one small step...
The assorted residents of Mossy Bottom Farm are shocked to discover that the strange lights they have been seeing in the sky really are from alien spacecrafts - and what's more one of those aliens has just crashlanded in Mossingham Forest. But the mystery visitor - who goes by the name LU-LA - turns out to be not only absolutely adorable, and with a wicked sense of humour, but also to have the ability to emit galactic-sized burps. Much hilarity ensues, with some magical alien-powered chaos on the farm. But when Shaun and the gang realise they are not the only folk who are interested in the extraterrestrial visitor, and that a shadowy gang of alien hunters are also newly arrived in the area, they set out on a mission to get LU-LA home.
Can Shaun, Bitzer and the flock avert Farmageddon on Mossy Bottom Farm?
