Broughty Ferry Homework Club

Broughty Ferry Homework Club has been successfully running for over ten years and meets in the library on a Wednesday from 3.45pm to 4.45pm during term time only. The club targets children aged 6 to 12 years from the three local primary schools and at present has 18 members.

The club is run by two tutors - Catrina Fyffe and Lorna MacKenzie who support the children with homework and project work given out by their respective teachers. As well as support from the tutors, library staff are always available to help children access the Internet, reference books, encyclopaedias and information about library skills which can support them with their homework and projects.

Broughty Ferry Homework club has a very happy ethos and this is reflected by the attendance of past members who regularly support the club and volunteer their services. We now have two of our ex-member's who attend Grove Academy. They often contribute their ideas to help develop the club.
