Roseangle, Dundee - Ref: WC0351
This photograph shows Roseangle running northeastwards towards the Perth Road to the right.
The buildings reflect the affluence of the house-owners, although these replaced far more opulent houses with extensive gardens from the 1860s.
The old St. John's Church stands on the corner of Roseangle and the Perth Road.
Alexander Wilson who took this photograph, was a supervisor in a Dundee jute mill for over 20 years. He bequeathed much of his collection and £50, to cover the costs involved, to the Free Library Committee of Dundee in 1923.
