Wormit Riverside Road opposite Birkhill Avenue. A number of elegant villas splendid example of Victorian architecture owned possibly by middle-class business people who commuted from Dundee.
Wormit was a mere village with only a few houses until the North British Railway Co. established a station there.
Alexander Wilson who took this photograph, was a supervisor in a Dundee jute mill for over 20 years. He bequeathed much of his collection and £50, to cover the costs involved, to the Free Library Committee of Dundee in 1923.
