Lindsay Street, Dundee - Ref: WC0344
This short section of Lindsay Street is near the junction of the south end with Nethergate (to the left).
The dentistry at No. 3 belonged to A. Davie by this time (successor, as the sign says, to Mr Stewart - although the Dundee Directory lists Mrs Dr J. Stewart for several years).
The photograph also shows a child on a tricycle, which has either very thin tyres or none at all!
Alexander Wilson who took this photograph, was a supervisor in a Dundee jute mill for over 20 years. He bequeathed much of his collection and £50, to cover the costs involved, to the Free Library Committee of Dundee in 1923.
