A newly refurbished Dundee gym and indoor cycle studio have opened at DISC (Dundee International Sports Complex). Kitted out with state-of-the-art Life Fitness kit, the gym space and cycle studio at the sports centre have everything to turbocharge your training.
Open early from 6am on weekdays, the versatile training space at the gym includes
- Treadmills, Cross Trainers, Bikes and Rowers for all the cardio lovers.
- Resistance equipment including a Smith Machine, Lat Pulldown/Low Row, Leg Extension/Leg Curl, Adductor/Abductor and Abdominal.
- Multi-functional Dual Adjustable Pulley with a large selection of attachments.
- Free Weights section and a mat area for your core workout, warm up and cool down.
While the Indoor Cycle Studio boasts
- An enclosed immersive space so you can get in the bike saddle and get in the zone.
- Effect lighting and immersive visuals on our large screen cinematic projection.
- ICG®'s Coach By Color® training system, delivers you real-time, colour-coded biofeedback to make sure you hit your workout goals.
- A pro-audio sound system that packs a serious punch. You will need to hear it for yourself, but the sound is seriously motivational.
- A fleet of innovative IC6 Indoor Cycles with WattRate® TFT computer to display all your performance data.
Gym goers can also use the studio when there are no classes and take part in a virtual workout by selecting a video on the easy-to-use tablet located to the left of the studio door.
