“Some Guys Have All The Luck” • The Rod Stewart Story • Friday 20 January 2017
Wake Up, ‘Some Guys’ has Something to Say to You…
45 years since Rod Stewart wrote and recorded the hit song Maggie May and hot on the heels of Rod’s recent acclaimed album Another Country, a new theatrical production Some Guys Have All the Luck is selling out in venues across the UK.
Some Guys Have All the Luck celebrates the career of one of rock’s greatest icons, Rod Stewart – from street busker to international superstar.
“Rod Stewart’s life has been graced with significant strokes of luck along the way and I’ve picked out some of these as key moments in the new show. Rod has made the most of this luck combining it with hard graft and talent and I feel as lucky to be performing his current songs as much as the classics like Maggie May.”
Paul Metcalfe delivers both an authentic and charismatic performance as Rod Stewart; from the distinctive vocals to the swaggering showmanship and sheer fun that has made Rod one of the most loved performers of all time.
The new musical show ‘Some Guys Have All the Luck’ charts Rod Stewart’s career chronologically and highlights some of the significant strokes of luck which helped the rock legend during his stellar career. The show also features songs from Rod Stewart’s time with ‘The Faces’ as well as a full concert production in the second half of the show with classic hits including Maggie May, Baby Jane, Da Ya Think I’m Sexy, Sailing and You’re in My Heart.
We all make our own luck, but some guys really do have it all!

The life of the Starman with a multi decade spanning career, the late, great David Bowie is recognised as one of the UK’s most influential and radical musical exports. His first hit was the song “Space Oddity” in 1969. The original pop chameleon, Bowie became a fantastical Sci-Fi character for his breakout Ziggy Stardust album.
He later co-wrote “Fame” with Carlos Alomar and John Lennon which became his first American № 1 single in 1975. 1980 saw the release of ‘Scary Monsters’, an album that looked to update Bowies original ‘Space Oddity’. Three years later saw the release of ‘Let’s Dance’.
The 90s saw Bowie create a side project with musicians Reeves Gabrels, Tony Fox Sales and Hunt Sales known as ‘Tin Machine’ which went on to sell two million albums.

Sam Bailey • Sing My Heart Out Tour • Wednesday 5 April 2017
2013 X Factor winner and gold selling artist Sam Bailey is once again taking to the stage to showcase her powerhouse voice in a 2017 national tour. The Sing My Heart Out tour will be the first since her sell-out headline tour of early 2015.
The Sing My Heart Out tour will coincide with the star’s upcoming album of the same name. It will be the follow up to Sam’s number 1 album The Power of Love which was released in 2014. She has been working tirelessly on the new album and has travelled to LA to record tracks with the acclaimed music composer and icon Steve Dorff. Since her return from LA Sam has spent countless hours in the studio. She has also teamed up with former A1 band member and singer/songwriter Ben Adams who has been working with Sam on many of the songs for the album including the first single Sing My Heart Out.
Sam is also running a competition to give talented artists from each venue’s area the chance to be her support act for a night. Entrants will send videos in prior to the show sharing their vocal ability for Sam to review. She will then personally choose the winners of this exclusive and potentially life-changing opportunity to perform in front of thousands.
Sam went from life as a prison guard to storming into the music industry when she was crowned the winner of the X Factor. The reasons behind the competition lie with Sam being adamant that she will never get carried away in the industry by forgetting her humble roots. Sam empathises with so many of the struggling artists out there that are looking for their big break and believes the competition will help to support them on their journey to success. She is not reluctant to admit that she wouldn’t be where she is today without the push that the X Factor gave her, and now it’s her time to give someone else the push they need.
Following her X Factor win, Sam’s hit single, Skyscraper, became the UK Christmas No.1. The following March, Sam’s album was released to high praise and later in 2014, she embarked on her solo sell-out tour. So far in 2016, Sam has been busy on stage playing a main role in the UK tour of the award-winning Broadway show CHICAGO.
With fans across the world eagerly awaiting new music, Sam’s new material and tour is highly anticipated and once again set to be a sell-out show.
