Sunday 25 February 2018, 2pm-3pm – Dundee Gaelic Choir
The final performance in the successful Soup ‘n’ Song series comes from Dundee Gaelic Choir on Saturday 25 February who will be performing in the Marryat Hall, Dundee. With the support of Bòrd na Gàidhlig and Dundee Festival Trust, the Gaelic Lunchtime Concerts give audiences an opportunity to hear and get a flavour of Gaelic music and song.
The Dundee Gaelic Choir promotes the Gaelic language and culture and they compete in provincial mods throughout the year and at the Royal National Mod each October. The choir is conducted by Frances Menter with fun, vim and vigour! They are a friendly choir who learn a range of music from traditional Gaelic songs to modern Gaelic ballads written for Run Rig.
Tickets include soup and a roll and are available for £5 at www.dundeebox.co.uk ,online transaction fee £2, postage charges may apply. Concert starts at 2pm, soup served at 1.30pm.
