Join crime author, Caro Ramsay, as she talks about her latest novel at Dundee's Central Library on Thursday 13 June. Caro, who lives in Glasgow, is the author of the critically acclaimed DI Anderson and DS Costello series. Her latest book, The Suffering of Strangers, was longlisted for the McIlvanney Prize 2018.
She draws on her diploma in Forensic Medical Science from Glasgow University to inform her writing. Being both involved in healthcare, as a successful osteopath, and with friends in the judicial system, Caro explores crime as a means to examine the laws of morality and see what side of the fence we sit on as a society. In her forthcoming novel, Caro also examines the ever-widening gap between the demand of couples wanting babies and the babies available for adoption.
