Behind the Scenes at the Museum

The McManus: Dundee’s Art Gallery & Museum is running two ‘CU Inside!’ behind the scenes events at the Collections Unit in Barrack Street. Members of the public are invited to pop in and find out about the various projects staff and volunteers are working on, from researching the Egyptology collection to cataloguing moths. There is also the chance to see even more of the city’s recently aquired DP&L ship models.

Some of the models are currently starring in the latest exhibition ‘Charting New Waters: Recent Acquisitions to the City’s Permanent Collection’ at The McManus and even more will be on show at the Collections Unit.

The events on Thursday 2 June 5.00 – 7.00pm and Saturday 4 June 2.00pm – 4.00pm are free and suitable for all the family.
